Ty Bodeis announced as new Operations Manager

DF Seeds President Janna Fritz proudly announces the appointment of Ty Bodeis to the position of Operations Manager, effective Sept. 3, 2024.

Ty previously held the title of Agronomy Operations Lead. As Agronomy Operations Lead, Ty was focused on both agronomy research and operational duties. Ty has been a great help over the last year as DF Seeds restructures and transitions to work with production partners for seed production. This role shift will provide better customer service and efficiencies with the operations and logistics needs of DF Seeds. The additional operational responsibilities creates a transition of agronomic duties to Jan Motz, Agronomy & Product Manager, and our District Sales Managers, Darren Kulicamp and Bob Bishop.

Ty has been with DF Seeds for over 3 years, originally hired as a Research Agronomist in April of 2021. He holds a degree in Crop & Soil Sciences from Michigan State University and is working on his master’s degree in Seed Technology & Business from Iowa State University.

Ty lives in Mayville with his wife, Alexis, and their newest addition, Blair. Ty also farms approximately 1,000 acres with his family growing soybeans, corn and wheat.
