DF Seeds Welcomes Elizabeth Smith, Summer Intern

DF Seeds would like to welcome our Seed Sales & Agronomy Intern for Summer 2026, Elizabeth Smith. Smith grew up in Hope, Michigan and was inspired to pursue a career in agriculture through participation in 4-H. She is going into her senior year at Michigan State University, studying Crop and Soil Sciences, with a minor in Agribusiness Management. Smith is a member of MSU’s Agronomy Club, Collegiate 4-H Club, Student Senate, and has competed on the crops judging team. During the school year, Smith worked as a Student Research Assistant in the MSU Dry Bean Breeding and Genetics Lab. During this internship with DF Seeds, Smith is hoping to learn more about what it’s like to work in ag retail, gain experience in sales and marketing, and better understand how the seed industry works. In her free time, Smith enjoys reading, running, and being outdoors. We are excited to welcome Elizabeth to our team here at DF Seeds.
